Washington County Well Represented At SIBCA All-Star Game

Two members of the Nashville Hornets and three members of the Okawville Rockets at the Southern Illinois Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Games. Two nine inning games were played. Cameron Parker and Payten Harre competed in the Senior All-Star Game. Todd Jahnke, Carter Killion and Will Aubel competed in the Junior All-Star Games. Teams were divided up by conference. One team was players from the Greater Egyptian Conference, the South Egyptian Conference and the River to River Conference. The second team was made up of players from the South 7 Conference, the Black Diamond Conference, the Midland Trail Conference, and Independents. The Greater Egyptian-South Egyptian-River to River Conference team took the first game 4-2. The South 7-Black Diamond-Midland Trail-Independent team won the Junior All-Star Game 5-4.
