Imogene Wiechert

Imogene Wiechert, 84, of DuQuoin, formerly of Steeleville, passed away at 5:24 pm, Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
Imogene was born in Addieville, on October 28, 1933, the daughter of Alfred and Ethel Newa Lehde. She married Willard W. Wiechert on June 2, 1956 at Addieville. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2011. She was a Homemaker and a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville.
Imogene is survived by one son, Steven (Kathy) Wiechert of Montgomery, Texas; one daughter, Janet (Mitch) Wolfe of DuQuoin; three grandchildren, Preston (Carrie) Wolfe, Karissa (Grant) Gerrard, Alicia Wiechert; three great grandchildren, Gianna Gerrard, Evelyn Gerrard, and Rylan Wolfe.
Imogene was also preceded in death by her Parents.
It was Imogene’s wishes to be cremated without any services. Burial will be at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville.
