Elwood or Ollie?

Shelter Pet – July 4, 2018

This week’s pet for adoption is a one or two year old male lab.
“He would be very happy with a big yard to play in,” said Dolly with the Partners for Pets. “He is a lab so he likes to run and play.”

Is this “Elwood”, or is it “Ollie”?

We’ll offer up “Elwood” as our staff-suggested name for this fellow.
Other pets for adoption include: Ollie, male Black Lab, 2 yrs old (could this also be “Elwood”?); Bessie, female mix breed, 8 yrs old; Ruby, female Pom 8 yrs old; Coco Pop, female Lab mix 6 mo.
There are numerous cats and kittens at the shelter right now. Please stop by, check them out and maybe take one home. The Partners for Pets is also encouraging people to adopt the kittens, because there is an overcrowding situation occurring and soon, tough choices may need to be made at the shelter. If you have a cat or kittens already, please remember to have them spayed or neutered to help keep this sort of problem from happening.
The shelter is located on the north side of Nashville, at 17990 Richview Rd, Nashville, IL.
The dog adoption fee is $30, which includes an AVID identification chip. In addition, each new owner will receive a certificate for $50 off of spaying or neutering.
