Zachary B. Setzekorn

Mr. Zachary B. Setzekorn of Nashville, departed this life in Okawville, on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 6:08 AM. He had attained the age of 28 years, 6 months and 2 days.
Mr. Setzekorn was born on January 19, 1990 in Mt. Vernon, the son of Mike and Nikki (Vogt) Setzekorn.
Zach was a farmer and also worked for Southern Illinois Beverage in Nashville. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Minden. Zach enjoyed farming, boating, hunting, Dallas Cowboys football and he loved his children.
Left to mourn his passing is his son Landon Schutzenhofer and Landon’s mother Erika of O’Fallon; his daughter, Leighton Setzekorn and Leighton’s mother Katey Forys and her son Liam of Okawville; his parents, Mike and Nikki Setzekorn of Nashville; his sister, Keisha Rettinger and her husband Jon and their daughter Aria of Nashville; paternal grandparents, Henry and Betty Setzekorn of Nashville; maternal grandparents, Roger and Brenda Vogt of Nashville; an aunt, Stephanie Daiber and her husband Jim and their children, Meaghan and Karaghan Daiber all of Trenton; an uncle, Bryan Vogt and his wife Lynn and their children Brayden Vogt, Jamie (Austin) Davenport and Kate Courtois all of Collinsville; two cousins, Bailey and Chelsea Setzekorn; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Scott Setzekorn.
Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Minden, on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11 AM with Pastor Timothy Mueller officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Tuesday from 5 PM to 8 PM and on Wednesday from 7:30 AM until 9 AM and then at the church from 10 AM until the service hour.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the children of Zach Setzekorn and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
