New Events Planned For Fall Festival
This year’s Fall Festival has two new events planned – a beard contest for men and a period dress contest for women.
Both contests are being set up in honor of the 200th anniversary of Washington County and the State of Illinois, and both will be happening at midday on Saturday, September 29.
The beard contest is first, at noon, followed by the period dress contest at 12:30 p.m.
The Fall Festival is put on by The Nashville Chamber of Commerce and will be held on Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29 around the Washington county Courthouse Square, in Nashville.
If interested in either contest, or for more information on the contests or the fall festival, call the Chamber office at (618) 327-3700.
