Evelyn P. Borrenpohl Luehrs
Evelyn P. Borrenpohl Luehrs, nee Zerbst, 88, of Venedy, IL, born April 17, 1930 in Jacob, IL, died Sunday, November 4, 2018 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.
She was an Interior Decorator and homemaker. Evelyn was a member of St. Salvator Lutheran Church, Venedy, IL; very active in the Lutheran Women Missionary League; and member of Washington County Home Extension.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Alma, nee Arbeiter, Zerbst; her first husband, Edward H. Borrenpohl; a son, Neal K. Borrenpohl; a daughter, Renee Morgan; a sister, Lorene (Martin) Twenhafel; and a brother, Henry Zerbst.
Surviving are her husband, Clinton Luehrs whom she married in Venedy, IL on October 28, 1995; her children, Gary Borrenpohl, Merle (Geralyn) Borrenpohl, Deitt (Bruce) Schneider all of Venedy, IL, Gay (Owen) Dugan of Lakewood, CO, Lisa Greene of Arden, NC; two step-sons, Timothy (Tamatha) Luehrs of Kinsport, TN, John (Beth) Luehrs of Chattanooga, TN; seven grandchildren, Eric (Wendi) Borrenpohl, Kyle (Sara) Borrenpohl, Cheryl (Trey) Halbert, Jonathan (Krissy) Schneider, Jeremy (Sherry) Morgan, Heather Morgan (Jake Womble), Adam Greene (Kelsey Spain); great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Zerbst of Phoenix, AZ; a son-in-law, Ivan Morgan of Venedy, IL: and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was 3 to 7 PM on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 and will be 9:30 to 11 AM Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at St. Salvator Lutheran Church in Venedy, IL.
Funeral: A funeral service was be held 11 AM Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at St. Salvator Lutheran Church with Pastor Art Eichhorn and Pastor John Greene officiating. Burial will follow in St. Salvator Lutheran Church Cemetery.
