LeRoy L. Lange
LeRoy L. Lange, 81 of Nashville, passed away at 11:13 a.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Washington County Hospital in Nashville.
He was born on January 27, 1937 in Clinton County, the son of Fred and Leona Lueking Lange. He married Dorothy G. Krueger on May 31, 1958 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 60 years. A son; Stephen D. (Janice) Lange of Nashville and a daughter; Marla Michele (Marcos) Carpizo of Shiloh. 5 grandsons; Shane Lange and fiance: Samantha Zipprich of St. Louis, Brian (Katherine) Lange of Centralia, Brett Lange of Nashville and Mitchell and Maxwell Carpizo at home. 3 great grandchildren; Ella, Grayson and Sawyer Lange. 2 brothers; Melvin (Earlene) Lange of Shattuc and Verlin Lange of Centralia. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Harlen (Wilma) Lange.
LeRoy was a dairy farmer in the Addieville area. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Minden where he was a trustee and a member of the men’s club. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and enjoyed playing pinochle and raising cattle and poultry. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Funeral services was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Minden with Rev. Timothy Mueller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends called from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
