Shelbi Nichole McKnight

Shelbi Nichole McKnight, 12 of New Minden, passed away at 1:42 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on October 2, 2006 in Breese, the daughter of Josh and Kerry Krupp McKnight.  She is survived by her parents.  A brother; Gaige McKnight and a sister Addie McKnight both at home.  Her paternal grandmother; Janet McKnight of New Minden and her maternal grandmother; Patricia (Mike) Bundy of Frostproof, FL.  Uncle; Kyle (Jessica) Krupp of Danville, KY.  3 aunts; Lisa Illert of Hoyleton, Dawn Gray of Russelville, AR and Shawn (Eugene) Seahorn of Russelville, AR.  She was preceded in death by her grandfather’s; Freddie McKnight and Edgar Krupp.

Shelbi was a 6th grade student at Trinity-St. John Lutheran school in Nashville.  She really liked to read, sew, sing and play the saxophone.  She loved to draw and had an amazing talent when drawing pictures.  Shelbi loved the ocean and spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14th at St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Minden with Rev. Timothy Mueller officiating.  Burial will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Nashville.  Friends called from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and will be able to call one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for her siblings Gaige and Addie McKnight. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
