Julia Ann Funke
Julia Ann Funke, 74 of Vandalia, formerly of New Minden, passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Odin Health Care Center in Odin.
She was born on October 12, 1944 in Centralia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stutsman. She married Ervin Funke and he passed away in 1989.
Left to mourn her passing are 7 sons; Jerry Smith of Vandalia, Steve Smith of Centralia, Rick Smith of Vandalia, Ervin Funke, Jr. of Naples, FL, Jim Funke, Chuck Funke and Bill Funke and wife Christy all of New Minden. 3 daughters; Anna Smith of Mt. Vernon, Pam Funke of Mt. Vernon and Gail Funke of Naples, FL. 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Mrs. Funke was a member of St. John’s Lutheran church in New Minden and previously worked as a health care provider.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in New Minden with Rev. Timothy Mueller officiating.
