Bambi L. Tomaszewski

Mrs. Bambi L. Tomaszewski of Ashley, IL, departed this life at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 6:58 PM.  She had attained the age of 54 years and 21 days.

Mrs. Tomaszewski was born on January 17, 1965 at DuQuoin, IL the daughter of Robert and Stella (Stowers) McKinzie.  She was united in marriage to Andy Tomaszewski on November 19, 1999 and he survives her passing.

Bambi was a homemaker.  She enjoyed crafting, especially sowing and she loved being with her grandchildren.

Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Andy Tomaszewski of Ashley, IL; five children, Brittany (Tim) Hartung of Opdyke, IL, Christopher Gartner of Red Bud, IL, Stephen Miller, Johnna Tomaszewski and Colten Tomaszewski both of Ashley, IL; father, Robert McKinzie; three grandchildren, Nicklaus, Karah and Kamden; three brothers, Richard McKinzie, Bud Miller and Stephen McKinzie; nieces, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Stowers.

Per the wishes of Bambi and her family, cremation was performed and a celebration of life gathering will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley, IL on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Bambi Tomaszewski’s children’s college fund or JDRF and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
