The annual Nashville Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt was held at Memorial Park on Saturday, April 20. The event included a petting zoo, visits and pictures with the Easter Bunny and a hunt for more than 3,000 eggs that were donated by the Brown Brothers.
Also during the hunt special prizes were awarded to participants who had selected several plastic eggs that were hidden in the lawns of the park.
Basket winners include Charlotte Pender, Riley Hand, Tyscon Marcum, Hayden Chwascinski, Shania White, Kash Hart, Mina Frederking, Mylah Grapperhaus, Ben Kohnen, Morrison Piasecki, Andrew Chwaschinki and Lilly Dinkelman.
Chocolate bunnies were awarded to Elwood Frederking, Sophia Clouse, Addelyn Wilkey, Javony White, Lily Givinup, Witten Plasecki, Shaane Stawar, Mason Smith Marcum, Shaleaha White, Douglas Habbe, Dixon Kolweier and Ila Maschhoff.
The Hoyleton Lions Annual Easter Egg Hunt drew a large crowd to the Village Park. President Tim Schnitker gathered the participants at the beautiful gazebo to direct the age groups to their sections. The children zealously searched for the golden egg, as this warranted a special prize. The weather cooperated as many recalled the snow of last year. The Lions, as a service organization, continue to provide events for the Local children. The many expressions of gratitude were a true sign of the appreciation.
