Washington County Relay For Life Raises More Than $40,000

Relay for Life was held Friday, May 10 at Nashville Grade School. Approximately 300 people came out to Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back against cancer while raising money for the American Cancer Society. Local entertainment consisting of Jamie’s Tumblers, Sonya’s Gotta Dance and the NCHS Jazz Chorus and Jazz Band kept everyone busy. Food trucks from Anton’s, ABC Concessions, General Sherman’s Hot Dogs and Truckeria del Valle, a first for Relay, fed the crowd. Over $40,000 was raised for the American Cancer Society.
