Mr. Kevin Jones, age 54, of Glenn Carbon, IL, formerly of Bloomington and Nashville, IL, departed this life in the Barnes/Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO on Wednesday, June 26 at 5:05 P.M.
Kevin was born on January 19, 1965 to Roland and Lorene (Haun) Jones. He was united in marriage to Joan Miles on November 7, 1998 in Belleville, IL.
He was a building contractor and farmer who enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoor sports and Cardinal Baseball. He looked forward to family vacations and spending time boating and relaxing at their lake home at Lake of the Ozarks, MO.
Kevin’s beloved wife Joan survives his passing with their son, Kean Jones. Left to mourn his passing is his father, Roland Jones (wife Marion) of Nashville, IL; his two sisters: Carla Blazier (daughter Ashley) of Sedalia, MO and Jayna Staudt (husband Elliot) of Santa Barabra, CA; his brother, Darryl Jones (wife Joni and son Kasper) of Chicago, IL; extended family, and friends
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A memorial service will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 8 PM with Rev. Scott Sharp officiating.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 PM until the service hour.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Bloomington Cancer Center and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
