Hornet Football Schedule Released For 2019 Season

The Nashville Hornets football team will look to return to the playoffs next season. The Hornets finished the regular season with an 8-1 record last year, but fell in the first round of the IHSA playoffs. The IHSA released the schedules for all schools at ihsa.org this past week.

The Hornets will begin the 2019 season on the road as they travel to Carlyle and Massac County to open up the season. The season begins on August 30 in Carlyle at 7 p.m. Week two will be September 6 in Massac County.

Nashville’s first home game of the season will be September 13 against Wesclin. Week four will see the Hornets try to avenge their only regular season loss of 2018 as they host Anna-Jonesboro.

Two road games follow as the Hornets travel to Sparta in week five, and Carterville in week six.

Nashville host Pinckneyville on October 11, before traveling to DuQuoin on October 18.

The regular season will end on October 25, as the Hornets host West Frankfort.
