Benedict F. Pinski
Mr. Benedict F. Pinski of rural Nashville, IL, departed this life at his residence on Saturday July 6, 2019 at 6:46 p.m. He had attained the age of 71 years, 4 months and 18 days.
Mr. Pinski was born in St. Louis, Mo on February 9, 1948 the son of Floyd and Hattie (Piasecki) Pinski. Bennie was a 1966 graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School in St. Louis, Mo and on August 22, 1970 he was united in marriage to Ruth Niedbalski at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at Posen, IL and she survives his passing.
Bennie was a dairy farmer for over 43 years and recently grain farming. He was a member of the Washington County Farm Bureau and former member of the Prairie Farms Dairy Association.
Mr. Pinski was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church of Nashville, IL and was a devoted Catholic and trusted in the Lord his entire life. He served as a church ushers for many years. Bennie loved spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends. He loved Polka Music and gardening and took great pride in his John Deere 2 cylinder tractor.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Ruth Pinski and mother Hattie Pinski both of Nashville, Il, a daughter, Tammy Jahnke and husband Chris of DuBois, Il, a son Joe Pinski and wife Amy of Nashville, 5 grandchildren, Tyler, Todd, and Colleen Jahnke, Ethan and Bennett Pinski, an aunt, Angeline Sherman of DuBois, Il, other relation and friends.
He was preceded in death by is father, Floyd Pinski, a granddaughter, Cindy Jahnke, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ed and Josephine Niedbalski, aunts and uncles.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 10 AM with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating. Interment will follow in the Old St. Ann Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call at the St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, IL on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and Wednesday from 8 A.M. until 9:45 A.M.
Should friends desire mass offerings or memorials can be made to the St. Ann Catholic School, St. Ann Renovation fund or St. Ann Cemetery, and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
