Back To School At NCHS, NMS

Students returned to the halls of Nashville Community High and Nashville Grade schools on Monday for part of the welcoming ceremonies to usher in the 2019-2020 year.

NCHS held its first ever Freshman Academy, where incoming students toured the campus with other student mentors. The day also included presentations on the school fight song, a kindness group, active learning, team building and other activities.

Nashville Primary and Middle schools opened its doors for an open house on Monday evening, where students learned their assigned classrooms, toured the halls, dropped off school supplies and greeted friends, teachers and staff.

The first official day of school was Tuesday.
