The Nashville Chamber of Commerce held a couple of ribbon cutting ceremonies on Friday.
Darren’s Premium Auto Detailing on West Maple is owned by Darren Meyer. He has been in business for over a year, and after detailing his own cars for years, he decided to take a leap of faith after several people asked him about working on their vehicles. Meyer got his business license, became accredited through Detail King and finished a shop earlier this summer to help his business grow.
“My work speaks for itself,” Meyer said. “I am thankful to the chamber, and I look forward to working more with the community.”
The second ribbon cutting was to commemorate the new owners of a storefront in downtown Nashville. McKay Auto Parts purchased the NAPA store on July 1. McKay has been a family-owned business since 1937 with its current headquarters in Litchfield.
