Mrs. Genevieve “Genny” M. Gill of Oakdale, IL, departed this life at her residence on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 9:05 AM.  She had attained the age of 72 years, 11 months and 4 days.

Mrs. Gill was born on September 15, 1946 at Scheller, IL, the daughter of Frank and Tillie (Borowiak) Kiselewski.  Genny was united in marriage to Carl “Bud” Gill on October 28, 1967 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Todds Mill, IL and he survives her passing.

Genny worked for the Illinois Secretary of State in Springfield, IL for several years.  After her marriage to Bud, she became a homemaker and a farm wife.  She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and helped at the St. Ann Catholic School in Nashville, IL.

Left to mourn her passing is her husband Carl “Bud” Gill of Oakdale, IL; two sons, Shane and Chad Gill; two grandchildren, Jacob and Justin Gill; a sister, Lorene Kabat of DuBois, IL; a sister-in-law, Clo Kiselewski of Waltonville, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Stanley and Paul Kiselewski.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Todds Mill, IL on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 10 AM.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Todds Mill, IL on Friday from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Saturday from 8 AM until the service hour.

Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials may be made to the Alzheimers’s Association and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
