Joann Pelka Green

Ms. Joann Pelka Green of Berkeley, MO departed this life at her residence on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 9:22 P.M.  She had attained the age of 80 years, 11 months and 5 days.

Ms. Green was born on October 6, 1938 in DuBois, IL the daughter of Thomas and Anne (Barciszewski) Pelka.

Joann was a homemaker and a member of the Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church in Ferguson, MO.

Left to mourn her passing is her five children, Curtis Green of St. Louis, MO, Wayne Green and wife Lisa of Zwolla, LA, Donna Jo Braun of St. Louis, MO, Gary Green and wife Gina of Wright City, MO and Timothy Green and wife Kathleen of St. Louis, MO; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren;

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, IL on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 10 AM with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the St. Michael Catholic Church on Tuesday from 9 AM until the service hour.

Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials may be to the American Kidney Foundation and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
