  Any parent who wishes to volunteer at school has to sign up on the Raptor system as a volunteer, the link is on the school website, http://nashville49.org.

  Challenger Students: Permission forms to attend both the November and December Challengers meetings went home with students this week. They are due on Friday, November 1st and Friday, November 22nd or you may email Ms. Williamson at [email protected].  Extra forms are available outside of the primary school computer lab.  Check out these forms to find each month’s grade level logo contest winner!

  Red Ribbon Week is October 28th – November 1st.

  Monday – I would rather eat bugs than do drugs. Wear Red! The class with the most participants will win ear buds in a bag!

  Tuesday – I’m a jean-ius! Wear jeans to show you are drug free!

  Wednesday – You won’t see me doing drugs! Wear Camo!

  Thursday – Say Boo to drugs! Everyone gets Boo To Drugs lollipops!

  Friday – Team up against drugs! Wear your favorite team colors and you may win a Cardinal Lunch Bag!

  Also on Friday morning our Non-Detention Activity for October is All About Chocolate! Ag in the Classroom will lead fun and spooky activities in the cafeteria!!

  Looking ahead:

  There is an 11:30 dismissal on November 8th and no school on November 11th for Veterans Day.

  Nashville Hometown Christmas is December 7th at the Nashville Courthouse Square! Sign up for Holiday Challenges including a Gingerbread House Challenge and Christmas Cookie Challenge!
