District 49 Call Home

Don’t forget to Fall BACK Saturday evening!

The Illinois State Board of Education invites our parents to participate in a school improvement survey. To participate in the survey please click on this link http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/. The link is also available on our website. In this survey, you will be asked to provide feedback about our school. Please consider your child’s current experience at school (i.e., 2019-2020 school year). This survey is designed to help school and district leadership improve their understanding of the parent/school relationship. The survey is open until February 14, 2020.

Our First Quarter Newsletter is available. Check it out at http://nashville49.org!

Any parent who wishes to volunteer at school has to sign up on the Raptor system as a volunteer, the link is on the school website, http://nashville49.org.

Challengers will meet next Thursday, November 7th, for those students that turned in attendance forms for November.  Please pick your child up in the primary art room.

Students are encouraged to bring in canned goods and non-perishable food items for the food drive sponsored by our Student Council!  All items collected will be donated to the local BCMW and Backpacks Of Hope.  Please bring in your donations to your child’s classroom by Friday, November 15th.

This week is spirit week for our middle school students only. Primary school students will have a pajama day later in the school year.

There is an 11:30 dismissal on November 8th. There will not be Jr Hornets on November 8th. And there is no school on November 11th for Veterans Day.

  Looking ahead:

There will be no school Wednesday, November 27th – Friday November 29th for Thanksgiving Break.
