Pets Of The Week

This week the Washington County Animal Shelter’s Pets of The Week

There are two female cats available, Tia and Tamera. Both are very friendly kitties who would love to have a lap to curl up on and purr for hours on end.

The shelter has many other animals available. Several are already spayed or neutered. If you have been wondering about whether to add a new four-legged friend to your household, now is the time to act! Many have the sweetest disposition and they would make a wonderful addition to any household.

There is a new state law that requires all cats that are adopted to have to be micro-chipped. The chip fee is $15.

Check with the Washington County Animal Control about several starter kits and other ongoing specials that may be available with each eligible adoption.

Dog adoption fee is $30.00, which includes an AVID identification chip.  In addition, each new owner will receive a certificate for $50.00 off spaying and neutering.

A few T-shirts and a tank top are still available for purchase, with all proceeds going toward the extra care for the animals. Call the shelter at (618) 327-9471 to check what sizes are still up for grabs.

The shelter is located on the north side of Nashville, at 17990 Richview Rd, Nashville, IL.

Visit the Partners for Pets on Facebook at and see all the animals at the shelter.
