Alwardt Scholarship Awarded

Nashville Community High School and The Nashville Savings Bank are proud to announce that Mr. Robert Isaac Sexe is the Class of 2019 recipient of the Leonard Alwardt Industrial Technology Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior in memory of a very special educator who served Nashville Community High School. Leonard Alwardt was an industrial technology instructor at NCHS from 1972 until his death in May of 1999. This scholarship endeavors to recognize and to provide financial assistance to students of outstanding character and scholarship with a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career linked to industrial technology.
Robert Isaac Sexe is enrolled as a freshman at the University of Missouri-Columbia and majoring in engineering. Isaac is the son of Robert Sexe of Camdenton, MO, and Rebecca George of Fulton, MO. While in high school, Isaac belonged to Drafting, WYSE, Football and Track Teams. He was also an Illinois State Scholar. Isaac expressed his appreciation for the scholarship award that honors Mr. Alwardt.
