Gallery: Nashville Hometown Christmas

The Nashville Hometown Christmas celebrated its second annual event on Saturday, December 7 with an array of seasonal activities in the downtown area.

The activities included an Ugly Sweater 5K race, a free holiday movie matinee at the State Theater, holiday crafts and food vendors, Candy Cane Lane children’s activities and horse carriage rides, among others.

The evening capped off with a reading of ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas,’ a tree lighting ceremony where the 20 foot spectacle in front of city hall was illuminated by citizen of the year Jay Colbrook; and a special visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus, who arrived in style in an antique car.

Here is a gallery to other photos from the fun weekend event.
