Howard K. Bohbrink

Howard Karl Bohbrink of Addieville, IL, departed this life at the Breese Nursing Home in Breese, IL on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at 4:18 P.M.  He had attained the age of 90 years, 4 months and 26 days.

Mr. Bohbrink was born on August 5, 1929 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Herman and Ann (Steinhauser) Bohbrink.

Howard proudly served with the United States Army and was discharged on September 14, 1956.  He graduated from Addieville Grade School and Nashville Community High School and was a retired bookkeeper.  He was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ in Addieville, IL, and the Washington County Farm Bureau.  Howard was an avid reader and a St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Left to mourn his passing are several distant cousins and numerous friends.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Ann Bohbrink.

Cremation was performed and a graveside service will be held at the Zion United Church of Christ Cemetery in Addieville, IL on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 1 P.M. with Rev. William Groennert officiating.  Those wishing to attend are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Zion United Church of Christ, Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children or to a charity of the donor’s choice and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
