Mr. Charles W. Watson of Nashville, IL, departed this life at his residence on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 1:30 PM. He had attained the age of 65 years, 2 months and a day.
Mr. Watson was born on December 2, 1954 in Clay Kentucky, the son of Harold and Elizabeth (Duckworth) Watson.
Charles proudly served with the United States Army and he worked many years as a mechanic for American Airlines. He was a member of the NHRA and he loved drag racing on the weekends. Charles enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife Christina Watson of Nashville, IL; a daughter, Jennifer O’Bryan and her husband Daniel of Nashville; two grandchildren, Cole and Raegan O’Bryan; a sister, Kay McCaslin of North Richland Hills, TX; nieces, nephews, other relation and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, George Watson and nephew, JT Routh.
Per the wishes of Mr. Watson and his family, cremation was performed and there will be no public services. There will be a burial of Ashes at the O’Fallon Cemetery in O’Fallon, IL held at a later date.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the an animal shelter of the donor’s choice and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
