Douglas Habbe, the son of RH and Sherry Habbe and a student at our school is in need of a life-saving kidney transplant. If you are interested in being a potential donor or know someone who may be, please email: Douglas was diagnosed with a lower urinary tract obstruction at 19 weeks gestation, he underwent life-saving fetal surgery at 20 weeks. Douglas was born with chronic kidney disease and Prune Belly Syndrome. Douglas is now a fantastic 6 year old and needs our help!

Potential candidates for a donor must have either B or O blood type, over 18 years of age, in overall good health. The donor must have no issues with your kidneys, a healthy body weight, no heart issues, and have your own health insurance.   Our Challengers will have their pictures taken on Thursday, February 27th. Picture forms came home last week. Additional forms are available in the office.

Monday, February 24: If I Ran the Zoo – Bring your favorite stuffed zoo animal to school

Tuesday, February  25: The Cat in the Hat – Dress in stripes from head to toe

Wednesday, February 26: WackyWednesday -Wear a wacky wardrobe to school. Middle school Student Council members will read to our students in the afternoon                   

Thursday, February 27: Green Eggs and Ham- Wear your Grinchiest green to school. Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade will enjoy a special snack in the afternoon

Friday, February 28: In celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday – wear bright colors that you would see in Dr. Seuss books. Mr. Brink and Mr. Fairbanks will read students their favorite Dr. Seuss book throughout the afternoon. Third and Fourth Grade will enjoy a special snack in the afternoon             

  Friday is also Hats Off to Cancer Day! Students who pay $1 can wear a hat all day. All funds raised go to the Relay For Life!

  Looking Ahead:

  No School on Monday, March 2nd for Casimir Pulaski Day!

  Kids for Christ is an after school program sponsored by Kids Community Bible Study. The Vacation Bible School type program will be offered on Wednesdays, March 4th – April 1st at our school. Registration is due by Monday, March 2nd. You can register online at This program is voluntary and not affiliated with Nashville CCSD 49.

  Sign-ups are open for Summer Baseball/Softball/Teeball! Forms in to be in by March 15th.

  Kindergarten Registration for the 2020-2021 school year will be held on Monday, March 16th between the hours of 7:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. at the Primary School Office.  Students do not need to attend. Parents with a child attending kindergarten next fall will need to fill out a registration packet, to get the packet ahead of time please stop by the Primary School Office or call 327-4304 ext. 100 and one can be mailed to you.

  Mark your calendar for Blue and White Night on Saturday, March 28th!

  Camp Invention is for students Kindergarten – Sixth Grade, the camp will take place July 6-10, 2020 at Okawville Grade School. You save $25.00 by registering online by March 31st at

  Spring field trips are just around the corner, please be sure all fees are paid and lunch account are current. Students owing the school more than $50 will not be allowed to attend the field trips with their class.

  We have two overflowing tables of lost and found in the foyer. Please have your child stop by and claim their belongings or if you can, stop by and grab them yourself! Also if you have middle school students their lost and found is now on tables in the gym.
