Mrs. Mary R. Jankowski of Richview, IL, departed this life at the SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 10:20 PM. She had attained the age of 76 years, 8 months and 14 days.
Mrs. Jankowski was born on June 6, 1943 in Alton, IL the daughter of Robert and Lily (Sheff) Epperheimer. She was united in marriage to Raymond Jankowski on June 21, 1987 and he preceded her in death on October 30, 2002.
Mary was of the Baptist faith and loved to fish, crochet and spend time with her family.
Left to mourn her passing is her three daughters, Lily Wright of Centralia, IL, Patricia Scholebo and husband Jeff of Pinckneyville, IL and Laura Smith of Richview, IL; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Nellie Gunter; two brothers, Charles Epperheimer and Robert Sheff and a grandson, Brian Scholebo.
Funeral services will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley, IL on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 10 AM with Pastor Kevin Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville, IL.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley, IL on Sunday from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Monday from 7:30 AM until the service hour.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church of Odin, IL and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
