Patricia A. Zelasko

Mrs. Patricia A. Zelasko of Radom, IL, departed this life at the Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehab Center in Pinckneyville, IL on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 5 P.M.  She had attained the age of 79 years, 1 month and 3 days.

Mrs. Zelasko was born on January 29, 1941 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Frank and Regina (Szopinski) Zelasko.  She was united in marriage to Eugene Zelasko on September 1, 1942 and he survives her passing.

Patricia worked as a secretary for General Radiator in Mt. Vernon, IL and then at Nascote Industries in Nashville, IL until her retirement.  She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, IL where she was involved with the Altar and Rosary Sodality.  Patricia enjoyed watching western shows, playing pinochle, playing the accordion and traveling.

Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Eugene Zelasko of Radom, IL; two sons, Richard Zelasko and wife Dawn of Sesser, IL and Jim Zelasko and wife Sheila of South Carolina; daughter, Sandy Zelasko of Radom, IL; grandson Casey Zelasko; brother, Lee Lukasik and wife Joann of Nashville, IL; sister, Dorothy Woerle and husband Bill of St. Louis, MO; sister-in-law, Nancy Lukasik of Centralia, IL; nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Joe Lukasik and grandchild, Natalie Zelasko.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, IL on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 10 AM with Fr. Oliver Nwachukuw officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley, IL on Thursday from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Friday from 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM.

The rosary will be recited at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley on Thursday at 7:30 PM.

Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials can be made to the St. Michael Cemetery or the St. Michael Church and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
