District 49 To Offer Free Breakfast, Lunch During Closure

Nashville Community Consolidated School District #49 has received a waiver from the Illinois State Board of Education that will allow the district to provide a free breakfast and lunch to all school-aged children who reside within the District #49 boundaries.  The district will partner with our area parochial schools to provide these meals every Monday-Friday for as long as the mandatory shutdown is in place.

There will be 4 pick-up sites for these meals: Nashville Middle School, TSJ-Nashville, St. Ann’s School, and Trinity-Hoyleton.  The meals will be in grab-and-go bags with breakfast pick-up between 8:30 AM-9:15 AM and lunch pick-up between 11:45 AM-12:30 PM.  If your child cannot come to a pick-up site, please contact one of the schools and we will ensure a delivery to your home.
Nashville #49 would like to thank all of our staff for their help and assistance with this program.  We would also like to thank the parochial schools for helping us provide much-needed food for the children of our community during this mandatory shutdown.
