Coulterville Man Killed In Randolph County Accident
A 35-year-old Coulterville man died in a one-vehicle accident in Randolph County on Monday morning.
According to the Illinois State Police, James A. Douglas II was driving a 2003 Dodge Caravan southbound on South Prairie Road at 7:58 a.m. when the vehicle left the roadway to the right. The car then traveled behind a guardrail and struck a ditch embankment with its front end.
Douglas was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Randolph County Coroner. No further information is available at this time.
