Kaskaskia College Jumpstart Program: The Jump Start Program is for freshman, sophomore, or junior students that attend a high school in the Kaskaskia College District. Registering through Jump Start allows students to take one class each semester at half the tuition cost each year they are in high school. If students are interested in enrolling in a summer class at KC, they should contact Kaskaskia College.
Summer Healthcare Exploration Camp: St. Louis University is hosting a camp for sophomores and juniors interested in potentially pursuing careers in healthcare. It will be held June 7-June 13 on the campus of St. Louis University. Selected applicants will receive a full-tuition scholarship to cover the cost of the camp. SIUE Summer Success Program: This is a five-week program open to first-year students who have identified as first generation and/or low-income students. Participants have the potential to take two college courses for a total of six college credit hours. The three components of the SIUE Summer Success Program include academics, campus resources and social development. It will connect students to essential SIUE campus resources including financial aid, counseling and health services, Academic Advancement Center, Career Development Center, Center for Student Inclusion and Diversity, and other essential campus entities. The program will also provide students with opportunities for mentorship, leadership development, and civic engagement. ILLINOIS SOCIETY OF PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS ST CLAIR CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP – Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and planning to attend and engineering program at an Illinois or Missouri college or university. Applications are available online at St. Clair Chapter of Illinois Society of Professional Engineers. The application deadline has been extended to April 17, 2020.
