Sherry M. Kemper
Mrs. Sherry M. Kemper of Richview, IL, departed this life at the SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL on Monday, April 13, 2020 at 9:02 PM. She had attained the age of 59 years, 10 months and 18 days.
Sherry was born on May 26, 1960 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Harmon Holmer and Virginia (Meyer) Belobradic. She was united in marriage to Joseph “Joe” L. Kemper III on February 14, 2017 at Branson, MO and he survives her passing.
Sherry’s true passion was for her job as a paralegal specialist for the Department of Justice for almost 40 years. She was of the Catholic faith. Sherry, Loving Wife, a Daughter, a Sister, an Aunt, a Cousin, a Friend, You gave your heart to so many. You spread your kindness everywhere you were.
Left to mourn her passing is her husband Joe Kemper of Richview, IL; sister, Sharon Smock and her Husband Steve of Olathe, KS; six nieces and nephews, Kevin (Karen) Smock, Tammy (Tom) Rowe, Kim Schroeder, Tina (Tyson) Stehr, Brian (Tiffany) Holmer and Nikki Holmer; three step-children, Jerri Lynn (Paul) McNiel of Anchusa, TX, Joey Leigh (David) Daniken and James Kemper both of Greenville, IL; seven step-grandchildren, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Joseph Belobradic and a brother, Gary Holmer.
Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, a private graveside service will be held at the Richview Cemetery in Richview, IL. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
The family requests donations for the Little Sisters of the Poor and they will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
