Nashville Public Library To Offer Virtual Summer Reading Program
The Nashville Public Library is evolving! Our much anticipated summer reading program, Dig Deeper: Read, Explore, Discover!, will begin on June 10th and end on July 29th. There will be no in-person programs this year. Instead, the library has adapted and prepared a summer reading program that can be accessed and completed online using Beanstack. Readers will keep track of their reading, complete fun activities, and earn virtual badges and tickets that can be used towards winning real-world prizes.
This program is free and open to all. You do not need a library card to participate.
There is a serious side to summer reading, now more than ever. Research has shown that reading over the summer prevents summer reading loss. Students tend to read more when they choose materials based on their own interests. Our library is committed to supporting lifelong learning and education enrichment for all families.
Registration is open now and will continue throughout the program. To register, please visit https://nashvillepl.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack mobile app today! To learn more about the summer reading adventure at the library, please email the library at nashvillepublib@gmail.com.
