Robert “Bo” Kozuszek of rural Nashville, Il departed this life in the SSM/Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 6:22 P.M. He had attained the age of 58 years, 6 months, and 8 days.

Robert was born in Pinckneyville, IL on January 13, 1962 the son of Alex and JoAnn (nee Biesk) Kozuszek. He was united in marriage to Stella Wisneski in the St. Charles Catholic Church in Dubois, IL on September 23, 1989 and she survives his passing.

Robert worked alongside his wife Stella at the Nashville Memorial Park, performing park maintenance and whatever other jobs that needed to be done to keep the park in top shape. He was a faithful member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Posen, IL and was a member of the Dubois Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed gardening and helping his brother Kenny on the farm. Robert was an accomplished drummer and even had the opportunity to play with the International Polka Association band in Chicago. Most of all, Robert loved spending time with family and friends.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Stella Kozuszek; his mother, JoAnn Kozuszek; three brothers, Jim Kozuszek and wife Janet, Kenny Kozuszek and Mark Kozuszek all of Nashville; a step-daughter, Anita Vagen and husband Joe of Fenton, MO; two step-grandchildren, Dakota and Cheyenne Fincher; two step-great grandchildren, Chandler and Azazel; as well as nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; a step-son, Thomas Fincher; and his father and mother-in-law, Mike and Regina Wisneski.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Posen on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 11 A.M. with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9 A.M. until the service hour.

Due to health concerns, those attending are encourage use hand sanitizer, wear masks and practice social distancing

In lieu of flowers, Mass offerings or memorials to the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
