Dolores L. Nuernberger

Dolores L. Nuernberger, age 102, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away at 8:15 a.m. on July 24, 2020, at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon.

Dolores was born in Venedy, IL, on January 3, 1918, the daughter of the late Edwin H. and Susie S. (Staude) Lietz.

Dolores married Irvin E. Nuernberger on July 31, 1937, in Okawville, IL. Irvin preceded her in death.

Dolores is survived by 3 sons, E. Phillip Nuernberger andamp; wife Deborah, of Honesdale, PA, Steven P. Nuernberger and wife Jean, of Missoula, MT, and Gary Nuernberger and; wife Nancy, of Goreville, IL; a Daughter-in-law, Ida Nuernberger 11 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband,

Dolores was preceded in death by 1 son, Robert Nuernberger; 5 brothers, Elmo, Laverne, Darryl, Grover Paul and Enno Lietz; and 2 sisters, Vergal McGuire and Juanita Heckert.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 11:00 am at Sunset Hills Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon with Pastor Diane Grohmann presiding. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or charity of choice.
