County Board To Meet Virtually

The Washington County Board will have restrictions in place for its August meeting, county officials said Friday, August 7.

According to a press release:

“Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the need to protect the community and the continuity of the county Government the regular monthly meeting of the Washington County Board will be restricted for in-person meeting. The County Board will be utilizing social distancing which will cut down on the number of members present at the meeting. Some of them along with all public will be asked to call in.”

Meyer and EMA Director Matt Bierman thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

The agenda for the upcoming meeting states that some of the items to be discussed include an update on the jail roof as well as discussion on the ambulance department, among other items.
