Robert Leonard Cross, 91 of Nashville, passed away at 9:10 am on Thursday, August 6th at his residence in Nashville. He was born on May 2, 1929 in Memphis, TN, the son of Earle and Florence Cross. He married Sharon Fox on May 18, 1968 in Nashville and she survives his passing. Also left to mourn his passing are three children, Todd Hoepker and wife Lexi Pillat of Orlando, Florida, Cary Hoepker and girlfriend Valerie Bell of Phoenix, AZ and Elizabeth Casey and husband Bryan Casey of Meridian Idaho. Also surviving are six grandchildren Garrett, Griffin, Colin, Kendall, Orly and Quinn. Proceeding Robert in death were his parents and a brother, Earle Cross.
He obtained a Agriculture degree from the University of Illinois and a Juris doctorate degree in law from the University of DePaul and was a practicing attorney and partner in the law firm of Green-Cross and Pearcy in Nashville for many years. He was a proud Marine veteran and his favorite hobby was gardening. Robert was also a former member of the Nashville Lions Club.
