Nashville Savings Bank provided $20,000 in funding to charitable and civic organizations throughout the community, courtesy of a grant received through its partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. While the need for food pantries, summer lunch programs and other valuable services has increased amid the COVID-19 pandemic, organizational fundraising efforts have been severely limited. Nashville Savings Bank is committed to supporting its customers and community during this difficult time and is pleased to offer this essential funding. The Board of Directors approved grant donations to the following organizations: Irvington UCC Food Pantry, Nashville Chamber of Commerce, Nashville School District Summer Lunch Program, Washington County Ministerial Alliance, Nashville Lions Club, Nashville Community Center, Washington County Animal Shelter, Nashville American Legion, Boy Scout Troup #127 and the State Theater.
