Police Arrest Three People On Multiple Charges

Nashville Police arrested three individuals on Wednesday, August 12, on several charges, including unlawful drug possession and unlawful use of a weapon.

The Nashville Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Illinois Route 127, south of the Interstate 64 overpass at 10:22 p.m. for an equipment violation. After a probable cause search of the vehicle, police revealed undetermined amounts of marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine and a loaded and uncased handgun.

Police arrested all three individuals who were in the vehicle. Those arrested included  Frankie Walker II, 33, of Columbia, SC; Nicole Cowan, 28,, of Las Vegas, NV; and Wendell Hubbard, 49, also of Las Vegas. According to Nashville police, they were charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, delivery or the intent to deliver methamphetamine, unlawful possession of cannabis, delivery or the intent to deliver cannabis, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Walker and Hubbard were also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

All three subjects were taken to Washington County Jail.
