District 49 Community Told Of Positive District 49 Case, Will Continue Daily Schedule

The Nashville District 49 community was notified on Wednesday, August 26, that an individual had tested positive for COVID-19.

Superintendent Mike Brink told parents in a letter that the district has been discussing the matter with the Washington County Health Department and based on their guidance, no further quarantine orders will be handed down from the case.

“It is clear that the specifics of this case do not require additional contact tracing and no other people need to be quarantined from any possible exposure here at school,” Brink said.

Brink also said the school will continue its five day a week schedule for the time being.
