Washington County Real Estate Taxes Mailed
The Washington County Treasurer’s Office mailed the 2019 payable 2020 Real Estate Tax bills on September 25, 2020. The total amount of tax to collect is $25,474,079. 58.
The first installment of taxes is due October 26, 2020, and the second installment is due November 20, 2020.
To avoid late penalty charges, your tax bill must be paid by each due date. The installment due dates will be enforced. Postmark will be honored.
The Washington County Courthouse has limited access to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to ensure the health and safety of our employees and you the taxpayer, we strongly encourage you to make your payment(s) by mail, online or by using the payment drop box located at the north entrance. If you wish to receive a receipt, be sure to include a stamped, self-addressed envelope. If you wish to pay in person, you will be subject to the COVID-19 safety screening and a mask is requested. Please bring the appropriate stubs with your payment. Please be aware that we will make every effort to accommodate everyone as quickly as possible. Seating will be limited.
