Free COVID-19 Testing Date Set For October 11

The State of Illinois is sponsoring a drive through community test site on Saturday, October 11, at the Washington County Fairgrounds from 8 to 4 p.m.

Simple nasal swabs will be used, and you will be called with results within 4 to 7 days. No cost for testing. Bring insurance card but you can still be tested if you don’t have insurance. Anyone can get tested. You don’t have to have symptoms or be sick.

    Just curious. If it’s free, why would you need to bring an insurance card?
