Daniel Frank Kujawa, 78, of Du Bois, passed away at 5:20 P.M., Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Deaconess-Gateway Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Daniel had been a steel worker for Steel Works in Granite City, IL. He was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois. Daniel was also a member of the Du Bois Knights of Columbus and Du Bois City Board.
He was born July 18, 1942 at Radom, IL, the son of Leo and Theresa (Sczopinski) Kujawa.
He married Margaret J. Boczek on November 18, 1967 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Du Bois, one daughter – Kimberley Sue Harris and husband Scott of Granite City, one son – Allen Thomas Kujawa of Granite City, three granddaughters – Colleen Harris, Gretchen Kujawa and Savannah Kujawa, all of Granite City, three brothers – Paul Kujawa of St. Louis, MO, Theodore Kujawa and wife Wilma of Ashley, and Eugene Kujawa and wife Marilyn of Scheller, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 7, 2020 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating.
Friends may call from 8 A.M. until the time of service at the church on Monday.
Please use social distancing guidelines. Everyone in attendance is required to wear a mask.
Burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery at Du Bois.
Friends may make memorials to Masses or St. Charles Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
