Mr. Raymond W. Decker of Nashville, IL departed this life at Friendship Manor Healthcare Center in Nashville, IL on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 2:09 AM.  He had attained the age of 80 years, 8 months and 26 days.

Mr. Decker was born on March 15, 1940 in Nashville, IL, the son of Oscar and Clara (Brune) Decker.  He was united in marriage to Linda Foster on July 1, 1966 at Milstadt, IL and she survives his passing.

Raymond proudly served with the United States Army.  He worked as a machinist for many years and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville, IL and the Veterans of Foreign War.  Raymond enjoyed farming and gardening.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife Linda Decker of Nashville, IL; son, Nathan (Audra Jones) Decker of Nashville, IL; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, John Decker and sister, Ester Sailing.

Due to Covid-19 health concerns, a private graveside service will be held at Cordes Cemetery in rural Nashville, IL with Rev. James Miller officiating.  Military graveside rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 110.  There will be no public services.

Should friends desire, memorials can be to the Trinity Lutheran Church and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
