Mrs. Alice J. Pytlinski of Ashley, IL departed this life at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 8:12 PM.  She had attained the age of 70 years, 1 month and 2 days.

Alice was born on November 10, 1950 in Centralia, IL, the daughter of Leo and Regina (nee Liszewski) Matecki. She was united in marriage to Rick Pytlinski on April 17, 1971 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Posen, IL and he survives her passing.

Alice worked at A.S. Fabricating in Mt. Vernon, IL., on the family dairy farm and at First National Bank in Nashville, IL.  She was a devoted member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Radom, IL.  Alice loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, sewing, cooking, reading and polka dancing.

Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Rick Pytlinski of Ashley, IL; mother, Regina Matecki of Nashville, IL; three children, Jarett (Robin) Pytlinski, Stacy (Kevin) Helm and Jason Pytlinski all of Ashley, IL; five grandchildren, Caitlynn, Anthony (AJ) and Malachi Pytlinski, and Evelyn and Cora Helm; brother, Art (Joyce) Matecki of Nashville, IL; sister, Cheryl (Jay) Colbrook of Nashville, IL; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Due to Covid-19 health concerns, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, IL with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  There will be no public services.

Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials can be made to the St. Michael Catholic Church or St. Michael Catholic Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
