Dinah Lee Barnhart, 71 of Nashville, passed away at 3:53 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at SSM St. Louis University Hospital. She was born on January 11, 1949 in Nashville, the daughter of Eugene and Lydia Prueshner Hampton. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers; John, David and Albert Hampton. A sister Dolly McFeron, brother in law Walt Turner and 2 sister in laws; Brenda and Betty Hampton. Left to mourn her passing is a brother Wesley Hampton of Nashville, sister Betty Turner of Nashville and long time boyfriend Kevin Perry of Nashville.
Dinah was a retired housekeeper at Washington County Hospital in Nashville and member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville. She enjoyed cleaning and working outdoors.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. James Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul UCC Cemetery in Nashville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Salvation Army.
