Leola Fern Michael (nee Hake), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Lee Roy Michael; cherished daughter of the late Walter Edwin and Goldie Florence Hake; devoted mother of Judy (Bill) Lubben, Joyce Whittington, and Mark (Cindy) Michael; cherished grandmother of Jackie Delling, Jessica (Matt) Fleshman, Jason (Christina) Whittington, Sarah (Terry) Eaker, and Jessica (Dane) Schroeder; treasured great-grandmother of Jack, Daniel, Molly, John, Parker, Ella, Max, Madelynn, Megan, Claire, Grace, and Fayanne; dear sister of the late Robert Hake.

Leola was a member of Chapel of the Cross St. Peters and worked at JCPenney for 25 years. She enjoyed cards and games with her friends and family, writing, and book club at the Boulevard. Leola loved taking care of her family. Leola was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Following the service in St. Peters, burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hoyleton, IL, at 1:00 pm.

Memorials may be made in Leola’s name to KFUO Radio, or Donor’s Choice.
