Mr. Jason Brooks of Hoyleton, IL, departed this life surrounded by his family in Nashville, IL on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 2:17 PM.  He had attained the age of 40 years, 7 months and 16 days.

Jason was born on June 3, 1980 in Hobart, IN the son of Dale and Marilyn (Kahroff-Smith) Brooks, Sr.

Jason graduated from Nashville Community High School in Nashville, IL.  He enjoyed being around his friends and family and he loved to make people laugh.  Jason loved his son dearly and cherished the time he spent with him.

Left to mourn his passing is his son Mason Brooks of St. Louis, MO; step-parents, Jim and Patty Smith of Hoyleton, IL; brother, Dale Brooks and wife Jackie of Nashville, IL; sister, Angie Brooks-Rybacki of Carlyle, IL; two nieces and a nephew, Brittney Rooneo-Rice of New Mexico and Sydney and Blake Brooks of Nashville, IL; other relation and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per the wishes of Jason and his family, cremation rites will be performed and there will be no public services.

Should friends desire, memorials can be made to a trust fund for his son Mason or the American Cancer Society and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
