Mrs. Dorothy J. Dlubala of Nashville, IL, departed this life at the Washington County Hospital Extended Care in Nashville, IL on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 1:40 AM. She had attained the age of 91 years, 5 months and 24 days.
Dorothy was born on August 30, 1929 in Washington County, IL, the daughter of Alex and Frances (nee Kallas) Rybacki. She was united in marriage to Theodore “Ted” Dlubala on April 21, 1951 in DuBois, IL and he preceded her in death on July 13, 1995.
Dorothy worked for Decca Records for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, IL, where she was involved with the Altar Sodality and the Catholic Daughters. Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo, gambling machines and she loved spending time with her family.
Left to mourn her passing is her daughter, Janet Heseman and husband Dean of Nashville, IL; daughter-in-law, Annie Dlubala of Nashville; four grandchildren, Angela (Pat) Jessee of Chicago, IL, Justin Heseman of Fenton, MO, Robin (Darron) VanDorn of Nashville and Danny (Kasie) Dlubala of Nashville; five great grandchildren, Lainey (Kyla) Duecker, Sam Reuter, Sailor, Kamryn and Austyn Dlubala; two brothers, Richard Rybacki of Radom and Alex (Delores) Rybacki, Jr. of Seattle, WA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Clarence Dlubala; brother, Mike Rybacki; sister Helen Dlubala and sister-in-law, Gussie Rybacki.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, IL on Saturday, February 27, 2021 with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Ann Old Cemetery. There will be no public services.
Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials can be made to the Washington County Hospital Extended Care and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
